How to Play Blank Slate

The objective is to score the most points by matching your word with exactly one other player. On your turn, you will be the "Selector" and read a word cue card with a blank space (e.g., "Baking ______").

• All players, including the Selector, secretly write a single word to fill in the blank.
• Once everyone has written a word, all players reveal their slates.
• If exactly two players wrote the same word, they each score 3 points.
• If more than two players wrote the same word, they each score 1 point.
• If your word doesn't match anyone else's, you get 0 points!

The first player to reach 25 points is the winner! The scoring system encourages you to think "outside the box," but not so far that you don't match anyone at all.
